Job summary

Frisco ISD seeks a dedicated lifeguard for the Natatorium to maintain a safe, orderly environment during programs and events.

You will monitor patron safety, enforce pool rules, assist with program registrations, attend in-service trainings, and support aquatics staff in setting up equipment.

Minimum age 16 with American Red Cross Lifeguard certification; strong communication and adherence to health and safety regulations are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all patrons and enforce pool policies.
• Check daily attendance, handle entry fees, register participants into programs, assist customers.
• Attend all in-service lifeguard trainings.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility; manage equipment and inventory.
• Assist with events and setup as directed by aquatics management.

Primary Purpose

Provide a safe and orderly environment at the Natatorium.

Qualifications

Major Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for the safety of all patrons.Check daily attendance, handle entry fees, register participants into various programs, and assist customers.Attend all in-service lifeguard trainings.Adhere to all Frisco ISD policies and procedures.Enforce all pool policies in a consistent, professional manner.Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility.Prepare pool set-up requirements as directed by the aquatics management team such as the following but not limited to moving lane lines, bulkheads, and setting up Colorado Timing equipment for meets.Follow a rotation of stations as directed by the head guard and/or aquatics management team.Complete facility safety checks and reports.Maintain equipment inventory.Participate in all events, in any capacity, at the Natatorium.

Other Duties as Assigned

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:Maintain emotional control under stress. Exposure to high humidity and potential chemical hazards in pool water. Moderate lifting; crouch/kneeling; sitting/standing. Work on slippery surfaces.
