Job summary

Friends Select School in Center City Philadelphia is seeking lifeguards for the school pool deck. This part-time role offers daytime, afternoon/evening, and weekend hours. Candidates bring lifeguard certifications (CPR/First Aid/AED) and must meet PA state clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Willingness to complete various online trainings, as required by the school

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately secure the safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job description

Friends Select School is seeking lifeguards to oversee and ensure the safety of our pool deck. This is a part time position with both daytime and afternoon/evening and weekend hours available. We are looking for a combination of individuals to cover the days/hours needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately secure the safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
