Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Superviser et assurer la sécurité des enfants pendant les sessions de natation.
- Faire respecter les règles de sécurité aquatiques et les procédures d'urgence.
- Répondre rapidement aux situations d'urgence aquatiques.

Ready to dive into summer fun while helping kids grow and shine? Wonderspring is looking for a Lifeguardto join our seasonal team at the Hartranft Center! You'll support our summer camp aquatics programming Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM by supervising swim sessions and assist with engaging, hands-on activities rooted in creativity, teamwork, and learning.Become part of an organization that not only values FUN but also focuses on developing your skills and talents.What You’ll Get to Do (and Have Fun Doing!)Aquatic Program (5 hours per week):- Supervise and ensure the safety of all children during scheduled swim sessions and aquatic fitness activities.
- Enforce water safety rules and emergency procedures at all times.
- Deliver basic water safety instruction and support children of varying swim abilities.
- Conduct daily checks of pool equipment and maintain cleanliness of the aquatic area.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any aquatic emergencies.
Your Special Skills & Qualities- High School Diploma or GED required
- Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross) is required.
- At least two years' experience in early childcare education (2,500 verified hours).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
- Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies.
