Job summary

Paradise Valley Country Club is seeking lifeguards, swim instructors, and coaches to join its aquatics team. This part-time role runs 30–40 hours per week from May through August, with potential to continue year-round.

You’ll keep the pool safe, enforce rules, assist with meets, and help with pool cleaning and records. Strong swimming, people skills with children, and current lifeguard, CPR and first aid certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must have all current lifeguard certifications (Starguard or Red Cross Lifeguarding).
• CPR and first aid certification current and active.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, on the deck, and in surrounding areas.
• Enforce Club Aquatics rules.
• Maintain routine cleanliness of the pool and surrounding areas.
• Clean pool and maintain records of pool chemical readings.
• Attend staff meetings and training as required.
• Assist with swim meets and related tasks.

Requirements
