Village Of Niles invites applications for a part-time Lifeguard. The role reports to the Aquatics Coordinator and entails enforcing pool rules with courtesy and firmness to prevent accidents, ensuring the safety of members and guests in and around the water.

Requirements include being at least 16, prior lifeguarding experience preferred, and ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

WE ARE HIRING! Join our team and become our new part-time LIFEGUARD . Reporting to the Aquatics Coordinator, the Lifeguard is responsible for preventing aquatic accidents through courteous, firm, and consistent enforcement of all pool rules, keeping members and guests safe in and around the water.

Qualified candidates should…

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Bring prior lifeguarding experience and knowledge of water safety practices (preferred, not required).
• Attend all in-service training sessions and comply with facility guidelines.
• Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay, benefits, and more…

• $15.91 to $20.69 per hour, depending on qualifications.
• Up to 19 hours per week.
• Paid leave.
