Your mission:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard who will ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests at the hotel pool area. This role goes beyond traditional lifeguard duties, as the ideal candidate will also perform pool attendant and server responsibilities, providing an exceptional poolside experience for guests. This position requires a unique blend of vigilance, customer service, and hospitality skills to create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable pool environment.

What exactly you will be doing…

In helping you understand your role in working for a progressive, environment conscious, world class organization, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your supervisors/managers not listed below in the constant quest to provide “out of this world” customer service experience for our guests:

  • Monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety by enforcing pool rules and regulations
  • Perform rescues and administer first aid as needed
  • Conduct regular checks of the pool water quality and temperature, coordinating with maintenance staff to ensure optimal conditions
  • Educate guests on pool safety and policies
  • Answer guest inquiries and provide information on hotel amenities and services
  • Manage the distribution and return of pool towels, umbrellas, lounge chairs, and other poolside equipment
  • Perform daily checks to ensure the pool area, including deck and furniture, is clean, organized, and presentable
  • Report and address any maintenance issues or hazards in the pool area promptly
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of poolside furniture and equipment as required

Background must-haves:

  • Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • Lifeguard Certification and CPR Training
