Job summary

Derry Township Parks and Recreation is hiring part-time Lifeguards for the Derry Township Community Center. You will assist in pool maintenance, monitor pool chemistry, and support the health, safety, and enjoyment of patrons under the Aquatics Specialist.

The role requires ARC Lifeguard/FA/CPR/AED and oxygen administration certifications (training provided) plus state clearances. Pay starts at $15.53 per hour and training dates are provided.

Qualifications

• Licenses/certifications required as listed.
• Clearances and trainings must be obtained before starting work.
• Lifeguard/FA/CPR/AED certifications are required or provided during training.
• Background and safety clearances are mandatory.

Overview

The Derry Township Parks and Recreation is looking to hire Part-time Lifeguards for the Derry Township Community Center. Lifeguards assist in the maintenance of the swimming pools, monitor and record the pool chemistry, and support the overall health, safety, and enjoyment of pool patrons. The position works under the supervision of the Aquatics Specialist. Pay: $15.53 (per hour).

Clearances and certifications must be obtained prior to the beginning of employment.
