Job summary

Glenview Park District is seeking lifeguard staff for Splash Landings Indoor Aquatic Center in Glenview, IL. You will monitor safety, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies while providing a friendly, secure environment for swimmers.

Responsibilities include maintaining vigilance, participating in training, and performing additional duties as assigned by the Pool Manager and Aquatic Supervisors. Part-time hours with flexible weekday/weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age (work permit required for 15-year-olds).
• Certified through StarGuard Elite before the first day of work.
• Pass a swim assessment: swim 200 yards, tread water for two minutes, and retrieve a 10-pound brick from six feet.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe aquatic operation with prevention techniques including constant surveillance.
• Enforce pool rules and respond to emergencies with proper care.
• Provide a welcoming, safe experience for all swimmers and assist patrons.
• Attend required lifeguard training monthly and assist with other duties as assigned.

# LifeguardPark Center - Glenview, IL 60026## OverviewPosition TypePart Time## Description***“Recreate” a better life with a career in the field of Parks & Recreation!”*****JOB SUMMARY**Glenview Park District is looking to hire lifeguard staff to work at Splash Landings Indoor Aquatic Center located at Park Center.
