Join Vanderbilt University Medical Center as an Advanced EMT (AEMT) in our LifeFlight Critical Care Ground Transport team in Nashville. We are offering a $7,500 Sign-on Bonus for qualified candidates.

Job Summary

As an AEMT, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in a dynamic environment, operating state-of-the-art ground ambulances and adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED
• TN AEMT License
• Valid Driver's License from your state

Preferred:

• 2-3 years of high-volume 911 system experience
• NREMT certification
• BLS, EVOC, VFK, NIMS certifications, and other advanced training

Position Details

Full-time, night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vanderbilt-licensed ambulances responding to emergencies
• Administer basic life support care within licensure limits
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with team and patients
• Complete accurate documentation and assist with patient transfers
