Job summary

QPS, LLC in Newark, Delaware seeks a Sample Receipt Specialist to ensure samples and controlled materials are received, tracked, stored, and returned safely. The role emphasizes attention to detail, data entry, and regulatory compliance within a lab-support setting.

The position requires an associated science degree (Bachelor's preferred) and is office/facility based. Experience with LIMS and Excel is desirable, with a salary range of $41,000 to $43,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related science discipline; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• High School Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant work experience may be considered.
• Experience in regulated industries preferred.
• Comfort with computer systems and databases (Excel, Watson LIMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, store, distribute, track, and return client samples and other controlled materials without loss or damage.
• Complete inventory and document discrepancies.
• Receive and reconcile shipped samples with paper manifests and an electronic database.
• Learn and run LIMS (database) for tracking of samples through their life cycle at QPS.
• Import data from varying documents into LIMS using Excel manipulation.
• Review associated documentation to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GLPs, and QPS SOPs.
• Communicate issues found to Principal Investigator (PI) and to external clients.
• Frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
