Job summary

ORBIS, located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC, seeks a seasoned logistics professional to support the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers (PEO CVN) and the Director for Product Support.

The role focuses on managing the integrated logistics process, developing policies and systems, providing implementation guidance, and directing directives to ensure effective logistics support for life cycle management of the carrier and its systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in integrated logistics support.
• Experience supporting a DoD/Navy ACAT-I program is preferred.
• High school or vocational diploma or GED required.

Job Description: The incumbent provides support to the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers (PEO CVN), aligned to the Director for Product Support. PEO CVN provides full lifecycle acquisition support to the nation's fleet of aircraft carriers. The command is located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

• Provide implementation guidance
• Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support
• Establish and enforce standards to ensure the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped
• Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of the aircraft carrier and its systems

Required Skills and Experiences

• Minimum: 15+ years experience in integrated logistics support
• Preferred: Experience supporting a DoD / Navy ACAT-I program

Degree Requirements

• High School or Vocational School diploma or GED certificate

Other Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must possess an active and fully adjudicated SECRET clearance
