Job summary

CA CI International is hiring a Lifecycle Engineer for Military Sealift Command projects. You will support lifecycle management, long-range maintenance plans, and ship availability programs for MSC vessels.

The role involves coordinating with the Availability Management Team and providing engineering input for repairs and upgrades across naval architecture, electrical, mechanical and marine disciplines. The position may be performed from contractor facilities or remote locations, with up to 10%

Qualifications

• Secret clearance preferred
• 5-30 year life-cycle planning knowledge applicable to MSC vessels (Lifecyle management, maintenance, repair and support)
• Experience with shipboard engineering disciplines (naval architecture, electrical, mechanical, marine)

Responsibilities

• Support engineering life cycle management and planning for MSC ships, including 5-30 year maintenance plans.
• Provide ship availability program management and technical support to MSC vessels.
• Collaborate with Availability Management Team to complete tasks for assigned work items.
• Observe, verify and report on engineering requirements for maintenance, repair and modification of vessels; provide observations and recommendations to PPE.
• Support engineering development and documentation across naval architecture, electrical, mechanical and marine engineering; deliver work packages and studies for vessel availabilities and upgrades.
