Job summary

Strategic Systems Programs in the United States is seeking a cost analyst to join a multi-disciplinary team. You will provide scientific and professional cost guidance across all aspects of acquisition programs, developing estimates and analyses tied to planned technical and schedule parameters.

You will coordinate with engineers, IPT leads, and contractor representatives to ensure cost analyses reflect current program information.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in life cycle cost estimates and analysis for weapons system acquisitions.
• Experience with federal procurement standards and cost analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific, technical, and professional cost guidance on acquisition programs.
• Review program progress and develop cost estimates based on technical and schedule parameters.
• Ensure cost analysis uses current program information and liaises with engineers, IPT leads, and contractor reps.
• Prepare and defend program plans to develop funding requirements and lifecycle cost profiles, and track financial performance.
• Assemble information and advise senior officials on assigned program areas.
• Maintain technical expertise through continuing education and liaison with Navy and DoD activities.
