Job summary

Geiger is seeking a Product Sustainability & Compliance Engineer to ensure our products meet environmental, safety, and performance standards globally. You will work across design, supply chain, and certification teams to uphold conformance, manage chemical regulations, and drive sustainability initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical field.
• Mechanical Engineering or product development experience is strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in product compliance, sustainability engineering, or environmental data analysis.
• Strong understanding of product testing, certification, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and documentation systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead product conformance and testing activities to ensure safety, quality, durability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with design, supply chain, and certification teams to meet regulatory and sustainability requirements.
• Coordinate lifecycle assessments and material substitutions to reduce environmental impact while maintaining performance.
• Manage regulatory compliance tasks and support certifications (e.g., UL, ETL) as needed.
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable internal processes to ensure market access.
