Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a LifeCafe Supervisor to oversee daily shift operations, delivering high-quality member experiences and motivating staff to ensure superb service. They monitor food quality and speed of service for a positive guest experience.

The role requires supervising the LifeCafe, coordinating schedules, and leading by example in customer engagement and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days.
• ServeSafe certification must be completed within 60 days.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Night and weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage LifeCafe shift operations and adjust schedules as needed.
• Provide daily leadership and top-level customer and staff support.
• Ensure menu items are prepared correctly and served professionally.
• Provide promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
• Handle light food preparation duties as required.
• Respond promptly to member questions and concerns.

Position Summary

The LifeCafe Supervisor oversees the daily shift operations in the LifeCafe. They deliver a high-quality experience to the members, and motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service. They also monitor food quality and speed of service ensuring a positive member and guest experience.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages LifeCafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow
• Acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support
• Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and service customers in a professional manner
• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager
• Manages light food prep responsibilities
• Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• ServeSafe certification with the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• Night and weekend availability is required based on the business needs

Preferred Requirements

• 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high volume atmosphere

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.25 and pays up to $20.50, based on experience and qualifications.
