Job summary

Life Time in Minnesota, Chanhassen is seeking a LifeCafe Supervisor to oversee daily LifeCafe shift operations and deliver a high-quality experience to members while motivating staff to ensure excellent customer service. You will also monitor food quality and speed of service to maintain a positive member and guest experience.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/AED certification within 30 days, ServeSafe certification within 60 days, ability to lift over 20 lbs, and willingness

• Manages LifeCafe shift operations and adjusts schedules based on traffic flow.
• Acts as daily shift leader providing high level of customer and team support.
• Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers professionally.
• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
• Manages light food prep responsibilities.
• Responds quickly and efficiently to member questions, comments, and concerns.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages LifeCafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow
• Acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support
• Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and service customers in a professional manner
• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager
• Manages light food prep responsibilities
• Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• ServeSafe certification with the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• Night and weekend availability is required based on the business needs

Preferred Requirements

• 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high volume atmosphere

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.50 and pays up to $18.50, based on experience and qualifications.
