Job summary

Eaton's Life Support division in Orchard Park, NY is seeking an Assembly & Test Technician II (Life Support) for 1st shift. You will perform mechanical soldering and assemble/test activities, ensuring quality and safety standards while working as part of a dedicated team.

The role requires 2 years of manufacturing/mechanical experience or military background, use of hand tools and measuring equipment, and basic ERP/Microsoft skills. Compensation is hourly with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of relevant manufacturing/ mechanical experience or Military experience.
• Previous experience using various hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or provide CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
• No relocation benefit; within 50-mile radius of the work location.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.
• Obtain and maintain Certified Operator Status and ERP data entry per site guidelines.
• Possess knowledge of assembly and test requirements; evaluate mechanical systems and use tools.
• Independently perform low to moderate complexity assembly and test operations from written instructions.
• Perform low to moderate complexity product testing using test equipment with written documents.
• Adhere to non-conforming material processes and document issues.
• Troubleshoot basic pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems with limited supervision.
• Use ERP systems and Microsoft applications.
