Job summary

The Village for Families and Children in Hartford, CT is seeking a Mid-Career Clinician to provide comprehensive behavioral health services across children and adults. You will conduct assessments, develop diagnoses and treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based treatment, coordination with community resources, and ongoing supervision to support professional growth and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate outpatient clinical experience.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Experience providing individual, family, and/or group therapy.
• Knowledge of community resources and behavioral health systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while utilizing supervision.
• Experience with electronic medical records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Establish DSM-5 diagnoses with clinicians as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and service agreements.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and adjust plans based on progress.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support when needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and link to community resources.
• Provide ongoing case management and care coordination.
