Sevita's NeuroRestorative division in Fall River, MA is hiring a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver to support individuals with brain, spinal cord and medically complex needs in residential and community settings.

You will provide training and supervision in living skills, assist with daily activities, and work with our clinical team to implement therapeutic plans. A valid driver's license and background checks are required; multiple schedules are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in human services.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• Caring attitude with dedication to assisting others.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
• A commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsabilités

• Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential and community settings.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
• Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served; provide transportation to work or activities as needed.
• Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
