Job summary

NeuroRestorative, part of Sevita, provides rehabilitation services across communities and ages. The Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver will support individuals in living skills, therapy activities, daily living tasks and transportation to work or activities.

You will collaborate with clinical staff to reinforce treatment plans and enable meaningful day-to-day progress. Full, part-time and as-needed schedules are available; Paid time off, health benefits and mileage reimbursement accompany these roles

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six months to one year of experience in human services.
• Valid Driver's License from state of residence.
• Must be minimum 18 years of age.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• A caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
• A commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals in living skills and other areas.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning and medication administration.
• Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served and support community involvement.
• Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
