Sevita's NeuroRestorative division in Massachusetts is seeking a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver to provide training and supervision to individuals in living skills and therapeutic programs, in residential and community settings, and to assist with daily activities and transportation for work or activities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year in human services, a valid driver’s license, and a compassionate, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in human services.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Must be minimum 18 years of age.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• Caring attitude with dedication to assisting others.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
• Commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsabilités

• Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential and community settings.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
• Facilitate the working relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement by accompanying them on outings, or providing transportation to work or other activities.
• Work closely with our clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.
