Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, seeks a caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting in Iowa. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community participation, promoting independence.

We value compassion, patience, and reliability. Compensation is $16 per hour with a part-time schedule and growth opportunities within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition to meet personal goals.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with individuals served and promote independence.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure participant wellbeing and safety.

Female candidates only. Pay is $16/hr. Part-time schedule available: Monday 9am-3pm, Tuesday 1:30pm-5:30pm, Wednesday 10am-12pm, Thursday 10am-4:30pm

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
