Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services seeks a Special Education Teacher for a Middle School Life Skills program in Amherst, NH. The role centers on specialized instruction, data-driven planning, and collaboration with a Social Worker to support students' academic and social-emotional needs.

Responsibilities include developing IEPs, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, differentiating instruction, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

Valid NH Driver’s License.
Current NH Department of Education Certificate endorsed in Special Education (1900)
Experience in a middle school and working with neurodiverse students.
Knowledge of Special Education Law and MTSS.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction in individual and small group settings.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education goals and IEPs.
Collaborate with a program-dedicated Social Worker to meet student needs.
Consult, coordinate, and communicate with all team members regarding services.
Differentiate curriculum with accommodations/modifications based on learning needs.
Coordinate with parents and teachers regarding educational programming.
