Qualifications

• Certified as Special Education Teacher (1900)
• Three or more years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Special Education Law
• Experience in a middle school

Responsabilités

• Provide specialized instruction in individual and small group settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals; maintain IEPs
• Collaborate with a Social Worker to meet social-emotional and educational needs
• Coordinate with team on services and curriculum mods
• Assist with differentiation and competency-based grading
• Communicate with parents and staff about student progress
