Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality.
• Keep accurate records of students with disabilities and furnish to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in supervising students during the school day and in various settings.
• Assist teacher with maintaining, copying, transferring confidential folders.
• Assist with individual tasks for students including transfers, lifting, positioning, feeding, bathroom needs.
• Assist in managing behavior and crisis intervention.
• Adapt to each student’s needs through in-service and teacher direction.
• Prepare materials for individual students or small groups under direction.
• Keep teacher informed of any special needs or problems.
• Uphold school rules and policies.
