Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of college study (48 hours) or an associate degree.
• Demonstrate knowledge through formal assessment (ParaPro or current assessment).
• Maintain current TB testing as required by Health Department regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engage students under supervision to support learning objectives.
• Assist with tests, homework, make-up work and recordkeeping.
• Assist students in both special education and general education settings.
• Support teacher with scoring tests and reporting as required.
• Assist with classroom setup and integration of technology.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Document health concerns and report incidents as needed.
• Participate in meetings and trainings related to job functions.
• Assist with implementing IEP goals and behavioral plans.

Education
