Job summary

Horse Heaven Hills Middle School in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Para/SS/LifeSkills Classroom aide to support students with special needs. You will work with the life skills curriculum, collaborate with the special education team, and help with instructional duties and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• AA degree or 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits or an approved testing pathway.
• Ability to use basic computer programs to maintain records and communicate.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to life skills students under teacher supervision.
• Carry out prescribed instructional and behavioral management programs.
• Document student progress and maintain records per district procedures.
• Assist in supervision during recess and physical activities as required.
• Assist in health-related tasks and safety protocols for students.
