Job summary

Cumberland Valley School District is seeking an Educational Assistant II for the Life Skills program at Middlesex Elementary. The role provides instructional support, classroom management, and program delivery assistance with a focus on students with diverse needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma (Associates degree preferred) and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Candidates must pass required clearances and commit to 20 hours of annual training to maintain Highly

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma; associates degree preferred or the ability to pass a highly-qualified assessment.
Two-year associate degree or higher preferred; training available and annual 20 hours of training to maintain Highly Qualified Status.
Experience working with life skills programs or in a life skills classroom is preferred.
Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds; corrected hearing and vision within normal ranges.

Responsibilities

Provide instructional support to students under the Life Skills program.
Assist with classroom activities and school routines; support program delivery for students with disabilities.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and district staff to implement educational programs.
Maintain a supportive learning environment and foster student development.
