Job summary

Easterseals Southern California seeks a Life Skills Coach I for our Lancaster Adult Day Services program. You will empower adults with disabilities to gain social and daily living skills, while providing emotional support and personal care as needed.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–2:30 pm, with an hourly starting rate of $20. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• 2–4 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assessments, planning, and ISP adjustments as needed.
• Help develop and implement Individual Service Plans aligned to goals.
• Support activity selection and life skills learning per ISP/IPP.
• Supervise participants and provide personal care when required.
• Assist communication and transport of participants; train on assistive tech.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safety, confidentiality, and compliance.
