Job summary

Spread Your Wings, LLC. – ILS Services is hiring an Entry-Level Life Skills Team Member who will train to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and confidence in daily living.

You’ll spend most of your time in the field with clients, coaching independence and building essential life skills. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and reliable, with a willingness to work flexible

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to work in the Orange County area.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry.
• Behavioral health experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Coach clients on building independent living skills.
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Help plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules for clients.
• Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes and quarterly reports.
• Spend 90% of time in the field with clients and 10% on admin/documentation.
