Chubb seeks a Life Sciences Underwriter in Tampa to manage renewals and generate new business for a broad range of products including Property, General Liability, Product Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in Property and Casualty lines; familiarity with global programs is a plus.
• Ability to develop and negotiate pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions for new business and renewals while identifying account rounding opportunities across other Chubb practices.
• Strong collaboration with underwriters, operations, claims, marketing, and home office leadership as needed.
• Ability to implement and manage effective pricing and rate strategies that support profitability, book growth, and strong producer relationships.
• Strong sales and marketing skills, including the ability to build, maintain, and manage producer and customer relationships.
• Ability to identify growth opportunities within new and existing production sources.
• Knowledge of marketing principles, pricing and rate strategies, and how to apply them to achieve underwriting profit.
• Strong underwriting process knowledge and risk analysis skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with clients at all levels and collaborate with underwriters, claims, and loss control professionals.
• Knowledge of technical issues, compliance, coverage, products, and pricing strategies.
