Job summary

Pace Analytical Life Sciences is seeking a Project Manager I to lead and coordinate client projects from initiation to completion. You will work with internal teams to ensure timelines, scope, and budgets are met while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, effective communication, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced CRO/pharma environment in Morrisville, NC.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with GxP regulations (cGMP, GLP) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks.
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned client projects, coordinating between clients and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans with scope, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate lab staff, scientific experts, and support functions to meet deliverables.
• Prepare and present updates, progress reports, and final client deliverables.
