Job summary

Design Group, part of Barry-Wehmiller, seeks a Project Manager to lead commissioning, qualification, and validation projects for life sciences clients from concept through closure.

You’ll collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate resources, and deliver integrated execution across design, installation, start-up, commissioning, qualification, and validation. Travel to sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of commissioning, qualification, validation, and project management experience in life sciences applications.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, forecasts, and project documentation.
• Experience supporting life sciences projects through design, implementation, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
• Ability to travel for project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, company-sponsored meetings, training, seminars, forums, and conventions.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and execution strategies for commissioning, qualification, and validation engagements
• Manage project resources, budgets, forecasts, schedules, engineering activities, and project documentation
• Lead project execution from concept development through design, implementation, installation, commissioning, start-up, and closure
• Coordinate commissioning, qualification, and validation activities in accordance with the approved project plan
• Drive project outcomes aligned with defined scope, schedule, budget, and client objectives
• Maintain and grow client relationships throughout project development and execution
• Support local and regional client development and expansion efforts
