Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager for Supply Chain Manufacturing in the Life Sciences sector. You will lead technology-enabled transformations across pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical-device manufacturers, bridging plant operations with enterprise systems and data.

You will drive end-to-end programs from problem definition to value realization, coordinating across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and IT/OT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing and technology delivery experience.
• Experience leading complex manufacturing transformation or technology-enabled improvement initiatives in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Life Sciences manufacturing transformations across assessment, mobilization, design, deployment, stabilization and value realization.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across manufacturing, quality, MS&T, engineering, supply chain, digital and IT/OT.
• Translate priorities like yield, throughput, right-first-time execution and supply continuity into practical workplans and measures.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing process design, MES/MOM, automation, data engineering, AI, architecture, integration, quality, change management and testing.
• Lead solution and process design for batch and discrete execution, eDHRs, recipes and routings, genealogy, and quality workflows.
• Guide integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, DCS/PLC, and cloud/edge platforms.
• Establish data foundations with models, master data, metadata, lineage, governance and IT/OT connectivity.
• Shape analytics and AI use cases; assess value, data readiness and risks before scaling.
• Collaborate with quality and validation teams on GxP controls and data integrity in delivery plans.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risks, and adoption; ensure smooth handover to operations.
• Connect digital solutions to daily management and sustained process improvement.
• Foster leadership across distributed teams and build capable delivery organizations.
• Develop managers, capture reusable methods and identify follow-on opportunities.
