Job summary

The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a Washington, DC-based think tank, is seeking a policy fellow (internship) to conduct research on life-sciences innovation policy issues during the spring of 2027, starting on or after January 4, 2027. The ideal applicant should have a demonstrated interest in life-sciences innovation, as well as exceptional research, writing, and organizational abilities.

Students with a strong interest in these issues are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in public policy, public health, life sciences, economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in life sciences, innovation, and public policy.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Highly proactive and flexible, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a Washington, DC-based think tank, is seeking a policy fellow (internship) to conduct research on life-sciences innovation policy issues during the spring of 2027, starting on or after January 4, 2027. The ideal applicant should have a demonstrated interest in life-sciences innovation, as well as exceptional research, writing, and organizational abilities. Students with a strong interest in these issues are especially encouraged to apply. The position is available on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours a week. Ideally, the applicant will be located in Washington, DC.
