Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) is seeking a Life Science Sector Leader to drive the strategic vision, growth, and operational excellence of our Life Sciences design practice. The role blends leadership, business development, and technical expertise to deliver compliant, sustainable biotech facilities for pharma, biotech, and medical devices, in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate will lead design proposals, oversee complex projects, mentor teams, and stay ahead of industry regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of life sciences facility design experience with leadership.
• Deep knowledge of GMP, FDA, EMA regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional business development, client relationship, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the life sciences practice strategic plan.
• Establish design standards and quality benchmarks for life science projects.
• Monitor regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation.
• Lead business development and expand client relationships.
• Oversee design execution ensuring GMP and regulatory alignment.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, and delivery.
