Job summary

Renowned Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead life sciences and healthcare construction projects across the Bay Area. This onsite, full-time role requires hands-on leadership from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and client communications.

You will coordinate with superintendents, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to address constructability issues, mitigate risks, and ensure quality and safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience managing life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or healthcare projects.
• Strong coordination of MEP and field teams with a focus on constructability.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project execution.
• Lead subcontractor bidding, scope review, buyout, and contract administration.
• Review drawings and specs for constructability and risk issues.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, cost reports, and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Lead meetings and communicate status to clients and leadership.
• Coordinate with superintendents, architects, engineers, consultants, and subs.
• Identify risks early and implement schedule and budget solutions.
• Ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction throughout.
