Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a driven Construction Management intern to support the Life Sciences team in Richmond, VA within Advanced Facilities. You will assist Project Managers across scheduling, cost, and delivery, while applying data analysis to optimize project outcomes.

The role trains you in pre-design/construction concepts, collaborates with engineers, and offers exposure to state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facility projects. Onsite work is expected as part of a full-time internship.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or another closely related field.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in all aspects of the project and help find alternative strategies.
• Develop project schedules and detail critical activities to drive successful project delivery.
• Collaborate on using data analysis to support service excellence.
