Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown PC is seeking a Life Sciences Audit Supervisor in New Jersey to lead engagement teams across planning, fieldwork and reporting. Location options include East Brunswick, Whippany or Princeton, NJ.

The role emphasizes leadership, client service and the ability to manage multiple engagements with strong communication and mentoring skills. Travel may be required to serve client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license preferred.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience including leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Experience auditing life sciences and SEC companies preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement staff on planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations to deliver high-quality client service.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork and reporting.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to staff and promote open communication with engagement partners.
