Job description

With over 30 years’ experience, this company is a world leading manufacturer of products sold in the Medical, Laboratory and Automotive sectors, amongst others. The business started their journey with a focus on blood and IV solutions and has developed today to manufacture a wide range of products across the Life Science and Healthcare sector. The company is now looking for a new Sales Professional to help them continue their already successful UK sales. As UK Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and managing relationships with existing distributors & Laboratories
  2. Training, motivating, and guiding distributors to enhance sales performance and achieve business goals.
  3. Generating new business opportunities and expanding the customer base in the life sciences sector
  4. Identifying key decision-makers and understanding their sourcing and purchasing needs
  5. Conducting market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential market gaps
  6. Performing financial analysis
  7. Working closely with the marketing, technical, and product management teams
  8. Preparing regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions

To be considered for this role you will have:

  1. A University degree or above, major in engineering, life sciences, or business-related disciplines, or equivalent experience
  2. Experience in life science sales, specifically managing distributors and engaging with end customers
  3. A proven track record of managing and developing distributor networks in the life sciences sector
  4. Experience in generating new business and expanding market share
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with distributors and clients
  6. Willingness to travel frequently as this is a National role.
