Job summary

10x Genomics Inc is looking for an organized, detail-oriented team player to join its manufacturing team in Pleasanton, CA. You will handle consumable kitting, operate packaging and lab equipment, and maintain batch records in a fast-paced setting.

Requires basic manufacturing workflow understanding, ability to read SOPs, data entry in Excel, and capable handling physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lb. Extended sitting/standing may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree or higher.
• Strong team player and detail oriented.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in a production environment with ERP (Oracle or SAP), inventory control, and work orders.
• Ability to read SOPs and equipment user manuals.
• Ability to enter data into electronic tracking systems like Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under supervision.
• Desire to be part of a fast-paced evolving organization.
• Lift up to 30 lb and work with repetitive tasks; occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Execute production operations per defined procedures and ensure product quality.
• Operate and maintain lab to clean room standards for Life Science products.
• Process work orders accurately using an ERP system in a timely manner.
• Maintain production batch records and good documentation.
• Assist in bonding and coating 10x chips using automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Assemble chips into final packaging using semi-automated equipment.
• Package 10x consumables into finished goods manually and with packaging equipment.
• Set up and operate scientific and packaging equipment; perform simple troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance on lab equipment and provide process feedback.
