Job summary

LifeLink Foundation seeks a Transplant Coordinator I to oversee the clinical aspects of organ donation and recovery. You will evaluate referrals, manage donor care, and coordinate with hospitals, procurement agencies, and transplant centers to optimize organ utilization.

Ideal candidates are licensed healthcare professionals with critical care experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in high-stress environments while maintaining compassionate family

Qualifications

• Licensed healthcare professional with 1–2 years ICU/OR/ED or pre-hospital critical care experience.
• Strong technical, organizational, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-stress environment and manage emotional demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all clinical aspects of organ donation and recovery.
• Evaluate donor referrals and assess organ/tissue suitability.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, CDC, OPTN, AOPO regulations and LifeLink policies.
• Obtain donor authorization and support families throughout the process.
• Package and ship organs/tissues and communicate with transplant centers and UNOS.
