Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance seeks a Life Sales Advisor to serve as the subject matter expert for the Life product portfolio in the Northern Indiana region. The role trains and supports agents in life insurance, annuities, and advanced sales strategies across multiple counties.

The advisor collaborates with Marketing and Life divisions to ensure effective training, joint calls, and a repeatable, transferable sales process, with a focus on premium growth.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (insurance designation preferred).
• 3-5 years of Life Insurance experience.
• Life Insurance license required; advanced certification preferred.
• Demonstrated success in life insurance sales.
• Demonstrated ability to train adult learners and develop effective training programs.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in life insurance-related technology.
• Ability to learn our company’s Life products quickly.

Description

The Life Sales Advisor serves as the subject matter expert for the company’s Life product portfolio. This

role is responsible for training and supporting both new and experienced agents in life insurance,

annuities, and advanced sales strategies across the Northern IN region. Counties include: St. Joe, Starke, Kosciusko, Marshall, LaPorte, Noble, Whitley, Elkhart, LaGrange, Allen, Lake, Porter, Wells, Adams, Howard, Grant, Huntington.

The advisor provides assistance with case preparation and

participates in joint appointments to drive successful outcomes. Using independent judgment within

defined limits of authority, the Life Sales Advisor collaborates closely with the Marketing and Life

divisions to ensure agents receive effective training and support. A key focus of this role is achieving

premium growth across assigned districts by enhancing life insurance knowledge, promoting value-based

selling, and implementing a consistent, repeatable, and transferable sales process.

Primary Responsibilities:

Acts as a key resource about the company’s Life insurance products currently being sold and in

force policies.

• Understands and utilizes a transferable sales process, including transition statements, how to open a life case, living benefits, concept sales, and needs analysis.
• Trains agents in the sales process and the Life Product portfolio at agency meetings, H.O. training, and all agent interactions.
• Conducts joint calls with agents, demonstrating our concept sale/living benefit approach.
• Solves problems with clients and agents related to our in-force existing life business.
• Understands and conducts all appointments and training in a manner consistent with being a Life Insurance Educator

Minimum Knowledge and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, insurance designation preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of Life Insurance experience.
• Life Insurance license required. Working toward completing advanced certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in life insurance sales.
• Demonstrated ability to train adult learners and develop effective training programs.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Life insurance-related technology.
• Ability to learn our company’s Life products quickly
