Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Life Safety Systems/Fire Alarm CA Engineer in Texas to lead design and construction administration for critical data center facilities. You will guide projects from concept through on-site execution, ensuring code compliance and high-quality life-safety designs.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, performing field support, punch walks, testing, and design reviews, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience with Fire Alarm Systems, including VESDA products and manufacturers such as Notifier, Edwards, and Xtralis.
• Proficiency in applying NFPA 72, NFPA 101, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 75, NFPA 76, NFPA 2001, and NFPA 13 codes.
• Hands-on experience installing, inspecting, or testing fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of project management, estimating, and scheduling for mid-to-large-scale projects.
