Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Life Safety Systems Engineer to design and lead fire protection and life-safety systems for critical facilities in Austin, TX. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes strong client collaboration, code compliance, and BIM-based design.

The candidate will coordinate with authorities and multidisciplinary teams, delivering calculations, specifications, and 3D models. PE-licensed engineers with semiconductor or data center design experience are preferred.

Position Description:

Join a dynamic team as a Life Safety Systems Engineer, specializing in fire protection and life safety design for large-scale facilities. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a chance to work on critical infrastructure projects, including data centers and semiconductor environments. As part of our team, you will utilize your expertise in fire alarm systems, VESDA, security CCTV, leak detection, and hazard mitigation to ensure code-compliant, innovative fire safety solutions. You will collaborate directly with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership through design, calculations, specifications, and 3D modeling.
