Qualifications

• At least 4 years of AutoCAD design experience.
• Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code.
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and manufacturers’ equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to co-workers and design fire protection solutions.
• Interface with clients and code officials for facility designs.
• Create 3D models for fire sprinkler and alarm systems.

Skills

AutoCAD design experience

Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 101

Knowledge of NFPA 72

Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)

Knowledge of NFPA 400

Design experience with security systems

Experience estimating and scheduling
