Job summary

Job Summary

You'll create 3D BIM model spaces using AutoCAD and Revit MEP and use them to support layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, Security, and Intrusion Detection Systems. Working with architects, engineers, multidiscipline engineers, and design leads, you'll help deliver complex Life Safety Systems (LSS) design packages. This hybrid role is based in Phoenix, AZ and is intended to be contract to hire as the Phoenix team grows.

PAY: $30.76/hr - $48.38/hr

LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ

WORK TYPE: Hybrid

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Create 3D BIM model spaces using AutoCAD and Revit MEP in coordination with architects and engineers.
• Assist designers with layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, Security, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Deliver complex Life Safety Systems (LSS) design packages in coordination with multidiscipline engineers and design leads.

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of AutoCAD experience.
• Systems design experience with Fire Alarm Systems, Voice Evacuation, Gas Detection, VESDA, Access Control, and CCTV.

Preferred Qualifications

• Revit experience.
• 3-5 years of life safety systems design experience.
• Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.
• Knowledge of fire/life safety systems and manufacturers' equipment.
• Industrial design experience.
• Autodesk Certification Professional (ACP) or other drafting technology certifications.
