Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Service Technician II in the Life Safety Services group. You will install, inspect, test, and maintain life safety systems for customers, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality service.

The role requires hands-on ability, routine travel, and adherence to safety standards. A valid driver's license, relevant certifications, and strong communication are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two fire protection related certifications.
• Experience with fire alarms and life safety systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service calls and inspections of life safety systems.
• Test, service, and repair life safety equipment per standards.
• Prepare accurate service worksheets and reports.
• Maintain documentation for invoicing and compliance.
• Assist with shipping/receiving and equipment handling as needed.
