Job summary

ADT is hiring a hands-on Manager, Life Safety for a highly specialized, mission-critical team based onsite (4 days/week) in Irving, TX. This role leads a seasoned engineering team supporting Life Safety and monitoring applications within a mission-critical environment.

ADT will also consider candidates based out of Boca Raton, FL, Knoxville, TN, and Rochester, NY. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We do not sponsor immigration benefits now or in the future.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in enterprise apps, monitoring or related technical fields.
• Experience leading technical teams in mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on with Microsoft SQL development and troubleshooting.
• Experience with .NET application development and Visual Studio.
• Strong PM, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a senior engineering team for Life Safety and monitoring apps.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across support, fixes, and releases.
• Plan MasterMind upgrades and application enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, users, vendors and tech teams.
• Lead projects and cross-functional efforts with on-time delivery.
• Support real-time operations and escalated production issues.
• Mentor staff and foster a high-accountability culture.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and long-term tech planning.
