VFP Fire Systems is searching for a qualified individual to join our team in Detroit, MI as a Fire Protection Inspector. The Fire Protection Inspector is responsible for testing and inspection of fire and life safety systems including, but not limited to, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, kitchen hoods and special hazards fire protection systems. The Inspector will provide accurate and detailed inspection reports with all proper documentation of improvements and complications and assist in selling VFPG services for any identified deficiencies.

Job Qualifications:

• Mechanical & math aptitude
• Valid state driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years Fire Life Safety experience
• NICET Certification is preferred (or willingness and ability to obtain)

Pay Range:

• Depending on experience $24 - $34 per hour
